Area Directory
Pomona is strategically located where the 10 , 57 and 71 freeways meet. Within thirty minutes, you can be at the Los Angeles Dodger Stadium or Hollywood. There are many golf courses and parks in close proximity. Within an hour, you can be enjoying the sun and surf at L.A.'s great beaches; picnicking, hiking or off-road riding in the canyons of our own San Gabriel Mountains; or water skiing, swimming, jet-skiing and boating at nearby lakes. Or how about Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles for excitement? Within one hour, excellent skiing awaits you at Snow Valley, Snow Summit, Mountain High and Holiday Hill, located in the San Bernardino Mountains. Also, we're approximately four hours from the Colorado River, a favorite with students.
In summary, Pomona offers a stimulating learning environment set against a backdrop of state of the art technology and all the amenities/sports particular to the various climate zones to which we are so close.
