CareeReality™

Technology has dramatically altered traditional professions, as well as produced entirely new career fields. This workshop connects with leading business professionals to better understand what skills are needed to succeed in today's ever-changing workforce. Participants will learn how the latest breakthroughs in technology turn into economic trends and examine how these trends relate to the career decision-making process. Available in educator and student versions.

Today there are over 400,000 unfilled positions in the technology industry. This demand crates thousands of opportunities for women in technology-producing positions such as hardware and software development. Even more opportunity exists in technology-using careers such as sales, project management and administration in a wide variety of fields including business, education, healthcare and public service. HerWorld, and interactive multi-media workshop available in both educator and student versions, is designed to help young women:

Future Tense Workshop

Designed for all high school juniors and seniors, this workshop is a highly interactive experience that can be customized to fit a variety of curricula and schedules. The program is designed to help students understand and effectively deal with the process of change and to assist them in defining and reaching future goals.

  • A documentary video in which students job shadow with young professionals at major, well-known corporations.
  • Interactive exercises in which students explore their individual natural intelligences and work personalities.
